ALBUM REVIEW: All for You [Explicit Lyrics] by Janet Jackson
The album consists of 20 songs by Janet Jackson. The Intro is just a compilation of Janet’s favorite interlude while the Outro explains Janet, being a sweetheart. Next is her 1st single entitled to the album, “All for you’ is much longer in the CD so it’s nice to listen to it more often. Then the tracks “2wayforyou”, “Lame”, “Clouds”, and “Theory” were interludes in the album. Then, “Come on and get Up” is like a dance remix song of Janet’s, it makes me dance with the beat. “When we Oooo” is the 6th one, the rhythm is more on the mellow kind of music which is really dramatic (ha-ha). “Love scene (ooh baby)” is similar to her other songs, so stereotype if we should say it. “Would you mind” is so pornographic and is full of sounds, moans and language but it is a great song and very catchy. One of my favorite songs in the album is the 11th track, “Trust a Try”, this song is very angry, and its lyrics express so many emotions. “Doesn’t really Matter’ is also one of my favorite song in the album, the video is focused on the futuristic side. Some other songs from the album are: “Son of a gun”, “Truth”, “Someone to call my lover”, “Feels so right”, and “Better Days”. This album was released on April 24, 2001, but the recording time was from March 2000-February 2001.The album’s producers are Janet Jackson, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, and Rockwilder. The RNB and POP genre makes its listeners more interested. As I’ve researched on the album’s achievements, the said album was also been # 1 in several Music Charts and Billboards. And her “all for you” album received several certifications throughout the years. Considering the double platinum award she received from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in the United States.
