Rock Out: The World’s Largest Music Festival just went Uber!

+ =

Summerfest 2013 is nearly upon us and it’s time to go through your checklist: -Favorite artists performing? Check
-Remind BFFs to save the date? Check
-Preordered Tickets? Check
-Figure out who’s driving after finding out how much parking costs, how hard it will be to find a spot, and that jamming 12 people into a car meant for 4 is harder than it looks in the circus? Errrr, working on it.

Fear not Milwaukee! Uber is here to save the day!
Let us take you to the party in style in one of our many sleek town cars or spacious SUVs free from the worries of parking, traffic jams, and space. This way you can ruminate about the important decisions like is it better to start at the Groove Stage and work your way to the Rock Stage or the other way around.

Couple things to remember:
-Stand out from the crowd! On your ride home, help us help you by choosing a spot away from the chaos. (It’ll make getting picked up so much faster) -No rocker left behind! Sure, our town cars are sleek and spacious but only fit 4. If your group rolls a little deeper, why not take an SUV? Or if you’ve got so many friends coming that you need a clipboard so you don’t forget anyone, take multiple rides! -Persistence pays off! If you can’t find a ride the first time, try try again. With over a million die hard music fans rocking out over 11 days, demand will be high but we plan on turbo boosting our supply of drivers to keep up with demand.

And for those of you who have saved your sick days to go all 11 days, we’d hate to see you have to struggle while you’re under the weather. (*cough, cough – for all those bosses reading this) For every 5 rides you take with us, why don’t you take $20 off your sixth? Now let’s just hope multiple days of sun and fun don’t really get you sick. ;)

Uber Worthy Causes: Giving just got twice as fun!

Christmas may have come and gone but that doesn’t mean the gift giving has to! Sign up for Uber in February, enter the promo code and let the giving begin!

First, the good news…. Who doesn’t enjoy giving themselves little presents once in a while? No one! So since you’re among the first Milwaukeeans to join the Uber Community, we’re depositing $10 in credit for you to use on your very first ride! Fantastic right? But wait, there’s more!

Now for the great news! Once you complete your first trip, we’ll donate $5 of Uber services in your name to one of these worthy charities. You can choose from:

Ronald McDonald House: MCDONALD
Wounded Warrior Project: WARRIOR

Just enter the corresponding promo code when you sign up and, once you take your first ride with us, your $5 donation will be credited to your charity’s account. So if it’s a limo ride to a Bucks game for a sick child, shuttling families to and from the Ronald McDonald House or helping a Wounded Vet travel around the city, know your donation will be going to deserving individual(s).

2) Customer Emails:
2.1) At Uber, the safety and comfort of our riders are our #1 and #2 priorities (with the third being to “WOW” the customer). Obviously we didn’t succeed in the first two and although I think we did “WOW” you, it definitely wasn’t in the way we were trying to. Please know that your last experience with us is not the norm since Uber rigorously screens and trains all new drivers. It is clear, however, that in this instance, much more training and monitoring is necessary if Tulio wishes to continue driving for us. Disciplinary measures have been taken and Tulio will be sent back through the training program to ensure similar situations are never repeated. We have also incorporated your feedback into the training program to demonstrate what type of dangerous scenarios can occur if rules aren’t followed.

Please accept our sincerest apologies for any discomfort felt during your trip. Since...
