U.S. Healthcare Reform and President Obama

When President Obama signed the Health Care Reform bill in March 2010, he sent a clear message that our country demands social justice for all its citizens. The moral backbone of United States is weakened if it does not provide affordable, quality health care to everyone. There are many layers to the Health Care Reform bill that will affect everyone. The health care officials   are   now   working   overtime   to   reassure   us   that   health   care   reform   will   not   make   us   worse   off,   that   it   will   instead   improve   the   quality   of   the   care,   and   that   if   it is obliged, it   can   be kept.   Health   care   reform   will   not   change,   in   any   way   that   matters   to   us,   the   self-interested   world.
At   the   risk   of   sounding   like   a   Pollyanna, we   want   to   try   a   different   tack.   Each   of   us   should   support   health   care   reform   because   it   is   the   right   thing   to   do.
It is said to be ethics for a living, it is neither impartial nor indifferent to the   needs   of   those who are beloved to a family, if one member family falls ill, the other members of the family do   everything   in   their   power   to   get   them   every   medical   intervention   whose   benefits   outweigh   the   harms. Everybody requires the best care there is to their loved ones. And if there is a provision for them to be privileged with a highly sophisticated employer-based health insurance, then it seems practical. But the sad part is that not everybody has that kind of privileges in their life. This kind of system seems unfair. There has to be a way that provides health care on equal grounds to all, to those who can afford and those who cannot afford.
Those who have insurance whether   through   employers   or   through   Medicare, do   so   because   the   government   pays   a   big   chunk   of   the   bill.   Those   who   don’t   have   insurance   don’t   qualify   for   the   tax   breaks   that   go   along   with   employer-sponsored   health   insurance   and   are   just   too   young   for   Medicare.
