Two ways of shopping
As current society has become increasingly commercialized, the ways of shopping has been more varied. Among them, there are two major ways of shopping include shopping online and shopping at stores. Such is the case with shopping on EBay and shopping at Wal-Mart. Both EBay and Wal-Mart offer after-sale services for goods and excellent quality of their products. Beyond this similarity, the prices of goods and the time of delivery in these two companies are different. The similarity between shopping at Wal-Mart and shopping on EBay is that customers enjoy the same after-sale services and purchase the same quality of products. For example, if a customer feels dissatisfied with a product that he has just bought, one has the right to return it within seven days or exchange it within fourteen days, no matter where he buys it. Because of the same product warranty, customers obtain guarantees for repair, replacement, and refund of faulty product. For instance, if a product that either purchased on EBay or at Wal-Mart is damaged; however, customers can send the product back to the manufacturer and fix it. Another similarity is that the quality of goods, as different kinds of products are made by their own manufacturer. For example, two SONY laptops have exactly the same quality, where one was sold from EBay and the other was sold from Wal-Mart. Yet despite these similarities, there are still many differences between these two kind of shopping ways like price and time of delivery. In general, the prices of goods on EBay are normally lower than those at Wal-Mart because EBay sellers save the cost of renting a store and paying the employees. For example, a pair of shoes, which sells for 200 dollars at Wal-Mart, could be sold for 190 dollars on EBay, even lower.
