In the world today people are cautious about their weight; people all over the world are trying to be perfect. Weight is a major factor; most people think to look good they have to be slim and trim, but what they don’t realize is that beauty comes from the inner person it is not what you look like. With weight a problem more now than ever, the question is whether dieting or exercising is more likely to lose weight. The point of my essay is to compare and contrast the expenses, health benefits, and weight loss between dieting and exercising. Exercising to lose weight can be expensive, if you don’t look more in to other plans. Most exercise plans cause for four main things, gym equipment, memberships, video tapes, and clothing. These expenses can be lowered by finding an alternative exercise, which doesn’t cause for purchasing Items. If you are good at dancing and step aerobics you can do this in your own home, this avoiding membership fees. The good thing about exercising, dieting doesn’t require equipment to lose weight. On the down side dieting May requires nutritious food, that’s low in calories. Dieting can get expensive, if you choose to lose weight by taking pills. Diet pills are required to be taken over a long period. To avoid this expense, you should choose a healthy eating plan that will stick with you and your daily life and everyday objects. Exercising has its benefits. There are many things that you could do to maintain good health. Some include, walking, running, and weight training. These exercises prevent obesity; reduce the risk of heart disease. Compared to dieting, if you don’t exercise; this doubles your risk of having heart disease. Exercise prevents high blood pressure and controls blood sugar levels in people with diabetes. One big difference in exercising to lose weight, is exercising lowers the risk of colon cancer in women who have gone through menopause.
