A lot of times I forget about the most important things in life and Tuesdays with Morrie was a good reminder. But I feel after reading this book that it"tms not as hard and hopeless as it sometimes seems. They talked about death and how you have to be prepared for it. You must ask yourself these questions: Is today the day? Am I ready? Am I doing all I need to do? Am I being the person I want to be? As Mitch visited with Morrie on Tuesdays, Morrie became weaker and more dependent until he finally returned to being like a child that must be taken care of. Their lessons covered death, fear, aging, greed, marriage, family, society, forgiveness and a meaningful life. Morrie taught Mitch that the most important thing in life is to learn how to give out love and to let it come in. ------------------------------------------------------------------------**Bibliography**. Mitch started going to Morrie"tms house for visits every Tuesday which became sort of classes for both Mitch and Morrie. This is something I have been struggling with personally- especially about creating something that gives me meaning and purpose. Eventually he was in a coma, stopped breathing, and died. Everybody dies but not everybody lives. To find a meaningful life Morrie said to devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning. I have no real experience with death but the lessons from Morrie in this book really made me happy. I find myself most depressed when I cannot find a reason to do anything and when I do not see a hint of what I want to do with my life.
