As your flipping through the channels on your television set looking for something to watch, you stumble upon a commercial, it catches your eye, so you stop and watch it for a few minutes. You realize that the product they are talking about could really do you some good.
Today commercials aren’t just aimed to the women of the house whose trying to care for her family, they are aimed at a broader audience, everyone. Years ago commercials ago used to advertise a product and its uses, but today they also tell a story. Commercial are very informative. They give details to teach you about their product and how it could improve your health or even your life. They give you real life situations that might fit your life and also show how their product could make life easier for you.
Most commercials are mini televisions shows that describe a product and put them in real life situations to lure the consumer into buying their product. Although some products are worthless and a waste of money, many actually work very well.
Today commercials not only try to sell a product, they also are a form of entertainment, for instance, special events. There are no more anticipated commercials than the ones airing the
Super Bowl. Many people that watch the Super Bowl have just as much anticipation to see the commercials as they do seeing a field goal.
It used to be commercials where annoying. You would be watching your favorite television show and then all of a sudden it cuts out and a commercial pops in. Now most commercials are just as entertaining as the television show. So it doesn’t matter when your show cuts out, its just a break from one show and then a mini show will momentarily take its place. [continues]
