A Trip to the Beach
The place that is peaceful in its own ways. It is the place to go to get away from our jobs and everyday duties. It is the place where we can sit and think the best. A place where nothing matters but what is in that little moment. This place is called the beach. A trip to the beach can be successful if you make the right preparations and find activities to do during the day and night.
The beach can be a fun adventure, but there are a lot of preparations that must be made. First, we must make sure the car is in working order with a full tank of gas. Second, we should make the reservations and have appropriate directions or G.P.S on hand. The morning of, we make sure we have everything including clothes, swimsuits, flip-flops, extra cash, credit cards, and beach gear. The drive will be long and boring, so we will need some entertainment to keep us occupied, for example, music, game system, books, snacks, and a pillow for naps. When we finally arrive at our destination, we jump out and hit the beach. We can enjoy numerous daytime activities on and off the beach. First, we go souvenir shopping and have lunch at a seafood restaurant on the boardwalk. Afterwards, we spend the day at water parks, riding go-carts, and playing putt-putt, although for the brave at heart, there are always the option of getting a new tattoo or piercing, hang gliding and bungee jumping. As the day winds down, we go to the beach and build sand castles, collect sea shells and take walks on the shore. Some of us play volleyball while others ride the water tricycle, or learn how to body surf, parasail and ride jet skis. For those just seeking relaxation, there is pier fishing or reading a book or taking pictures. After a fun filled day, our favorite thing to do is have a cookout and swim in the ocean. Finally, as the sun begins to set, we get dressed for a night out. We walk along the beach with our sandals in our hands as the cool water rolls up and...
