TITLE : It is easy for people to forget that when they travel alone, whether via public transportation or on their own, they are actually exposed to many dangerous situations, such as crime. Hence, it is vital for all to have some basic safety guidelines to avoid or protect oneself from danger. Suggest the precautions that a person can take while travelling alone.

Travelling alone has many advantages and disadvantages, and can be harmful especially for women. There can be something undesirable if proper precaution is not taken. In the country now, there are many crimes including snacth theft and rapes. This is very dangerous for a women who is in a place that not many people. Before travelling alone is better choose the first destination or place to be intended in order to make travel easier and safety arrive. There are some basic steps can be taken to ensure your travelling alone is safe and enjoyable and they are don’t carry valuebels, be confidents and safety and security. Among the measures to be taken is leave valuables. According to Sharon O’Brien, former Guide, “leave all valuables, such as extra credit cards and jewelry at home. Even costume jewelry poses an unnecessary risk to your safety, because thieves are not likely to know it’s not the real thing until after they steal it”. Other than that, the presence valuables could endanger our security anywhere to go. the purpose of this travel is to see other countries not to show the items that we have. According to Alexisgrant, tips for women travelling alone, 2011, “only bring what you can easily carry. It’s always a good idea to keep your backpack light, but this becomes even more important when you’re traveling alone, simply because you don’t have anyone to help you. Traveling light could even be seen as a safety measure, because you can move more quickly away from danger when you have less to carry.
