You know we can’t sit still for a long time. We are supposed to be on the move. Travelling is an activity that can be enjoyed by just about everyone. "Traveling broadens the mind more than reading." says a very popular Turkish proverb. It is true as long as one embraces experiences with an open mind. Traveling is seeing new countries, meeting new people, experiencing new things, learning a different side of life and more. It is in short the adventurous outdoor class trip to different cultures, different languages, different political climates and different histories. Getting out of the place where you always live, then going to an unfamiliar place will be a kind of unforgettable experience in your life. Why do people travel? It gets you away from your normal scenery to something totally new. Some people travel because they want to see their families and friends who live abroad. One of the most important reasons to travel is to broaden your experience about the world, to learn new cultures, to see the difference between them. Travelling is a good relaxation. Sometimes people need to get away from the stress of everyday life. The aim of travelling nowadays may not only be for relaxation, but also business. To business people, travelling is part of their job. They are sent to countries to invest, promote, to enhance the relationship between areas and developing the economy. Some people feel that a person’s education is not complete unless he has travelled, as they experience new things. There are various types of travelling: active tourism, voluntourism, ecotourism, package tours. Before you hit the road you should think what you want to gain of it. Active Tourism aims to combine recreation, education and bring benefits to both the tourist as well to the visited land.
