There are many things that this country tries to do to keep us safe from any kind of harm. Like the Transportation Security Administration recently passed new airport security regulations that allow a new body screening technology, or a full body pat downs by same gender security personnel to help prevent airplane bombings and highjackings. Although you make think it is invading your privacy they are just trying to keep you safe.
See if all they are trying to do is keep you safe then you should just let them do their jobs. Because they are just trying to make sure that you take off safely and make it to where ever you need to go safely. Since imaging technology has been deployed at airports, over 99 percent of passengers choose to be screened by this technology over alternative screening procedures. According to a new CBS poll, 4 out of 5 Americans support the use of advanced imaging technology at airports nationwide. It is a faster and more efficient way to get through airport security. So you can be at your gate quicker and have more time to do what you need to. Also, passengers with joint replacements or other medical devices that would regularly alarm a metal detector often prefer this technology because it is quicker and less invasive than a pat down.
It is also very reliable and will not harm you in any way. Because the advanced imaging technology screening has meted national health and safety standards it is safe for all passengers. But you also have a choice if you want to go through the body screener or you can just have a pat down from the same gender from security personnel. TSA has implemented strict measures to protect passenger privacy, which is ensured through the anonymity of the image. Additionally, advanced imaging technology screening is optional to all passengers. So they even give you the option to do so.
