Along with the accomplishment of the unit of Practical Translation which consists of translation works in many different categories, such as tourism, politics, economics, medicine and law, etc, the final assignment of completing the course is a six thousand translation which was completed by me and other three group members, who are Guoyun Niu, Ludi Zhang and Stuart Yuen specializing the stream of translating Chinese into English. This journal is the conclusion and feedback of both this translation work and the whole unit. It will be divided into two parts and discussed from different points of view respectively while some suggestions will be given towards the future study as well. The details are demonstrated below.

Firstly, attention will be paid on this translation itself. For this piece of work, full preparation was done in three steps as follow. Primarily, the reason for choosing this group to work with is aiming for conquering the non-proficiency of translating Chinese into English. Secondly, to translate the material in education area is the decision made after group discussion, for this article belongs in an area that all members had a keen interest; the content and language of the article are at an appropriate level to translate into the target language. Thirdly, according to each member’s interest and specialty, we decided the average distribution of the whole article, which are: Ludi Zhang was in charge of sourcing a suitable text and translating the second article and half of the fifth article. Stuart Yuen was responsible for translating the foreword and the first article. He was also responsible for proofreading and editing. Yongli Niu was responsible for article four and half of article five. I was responsible for writing the introduction, translating the third article and providing final editing to the PDF document.
