Singapore tourist attraction for kids
Singapore, albeit being a small dot on the map, has a plethora of activities and attractions for kids. The list of attractions for kids ranges from an experience at the Singapore Discovery Centre to a fun-filled day at the Jurong Bird Park. Depending on what your kid likes to do, there is always an attraction catered to your child. If your kid loves animals, you could take a trip to the Singapore Zoo, the Jurong Bird Park or even the Underwater World at Sentosa.
If your kid is a nature lover, he/she would love a walk in the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, a luxuriant 164 hectare primary tropical forest which is home to more species of plants than the entire North American continent! Alternatively, a good place is the Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden. It is Asia’s first garden for children, located at the Bukit Timah Core of the Singapore Botanic Gardens, and offers various activities to give your young ones an insight into the natural world. There, your kids can have a hands-on experience in the Potting Garden, Sensory Garden, Living Classrooms and much more. Perhaps the outdoors is not your kid’s cup of tea; there are also many indoor attractions like the Singapore Discovery Centre, where there are high-tech exhibits and interactive games that explain the Singapore story, giving your child an idea of what it means to be Singaporean. Another exciting indoor attraction is Lilliputt – Singapore’s first themed, indoor mini golf course. It is an air-conditioned 18-hole golf course with mini models of Singapore’s landmarks and buildings. There is even special sound, lighting and visual animation effects at each model! At this attraction, special group packages are available, so, why hesitate for an opportunity to experience some fun mini golfing? Many more attractions and activities are available and there would definitely be an attraction suited to your child’s needs no matter what!
