Tourism Policy and Development
Introduction
This literature will critically analyse the roles of various firms such as the public (Government) sector, private and interest groups that commonly feature in tourism policy making, it will explain the process of policy planning. It will also discuss the influences of the various organisations involved in tourism policy-making and the process is had over time. It will evaluate linkages/ partnerships in the tourism policy-making organisations.
The Tourism Industry is a big business, according to Ineson, E, (2005) the tourism sector is Europe’s biggest growth industry, principally it consists of over three million different types of accommodation from bed & breakfast to luxury hotels, variety of restaurants and catering operations, leisure and man-made and natural attractions for tourist to visit and experience the tourism industry products and services.
