Over the years, Malaysia has been the preferred destination for many people seeking less expensive tourism. We can find different kind of cuisines, races and cultures in this country which defines the slogan “Malaysia Truly Asia”. In 2009, Malaysia made it into the top 10 most visited countries’ list. Malaysia secured with 9th position, just below Turkey and Germany.   Below are the benefits and disadvantages of tourism.
  Malaysia has successfully transformed into various kind of tourism. The east Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak are more into ecotourism as there are a lot of untouched forests and jungles. This will be a great opportunity to develop it into tourist attraction. Besides, it also helps to educate the travelers and fosters respect for different cultures and human rights. The developments in technology and infrastructure have made many rural areas to become more accessible.
  Kuala Lumpur is one of the most vibrant cities in the world. The top five highest building in the world, Petronas Twin Tower, introduced Malaysia to the world. With the extreme night life, spacious and fancy shopping mall in the town attracted tourist from all over the world. Islamic Arts Museum and Lake Gardens Park are some of the great tourist attraction places. During peak seasons, all the hotels in the “Golden Triangle” can be fully occupied. This can really boost up the sales in various industries, in other word, the country’s economy. This is can the money earned from foreign tourist such as Europeans, American. As the currency rate is much higher than Malaysia’s currency, they are willing to spend more on shopping, food, accommodation, entertainment. This is where we earned most of the money from.
