If you could travel back and meet one famous person who would that be?

I definitely consider that it is an outstanding notion to travel back in time and meet Marilyn Monroe. In addition, she is one of the most celebrated and enduring icons of all time. Furthermore, Marilyn was an American actress, singer, model and a showgirl. She is an inspiration and a role model for girls from all generations. Nevertheless, this woman hasn't always been the platinum blond shade fashion icon which we all recognize today. The first case to bear in mind is that Marilyn's childhood was volatile as she was passed from family members to family friends and she frequently stayed in orphanages as result of her mother's serious mental decease. Eventually, she got married at the age of sixteen and when her husband was sent to the Pacific with the merchant marine her days as a working girl started. Moreover, she was forced to undertake a job at an aeronautical plant in order to fund her expenses. Basically, one day a photographer took a picture of the stunning brunette while at the factory and within months she became a successful model securing dozens of magazine covers. Studio executives, directors and photographers immediately recognized her ability to capture and hold the attention of anyone at the opposite end of a camera lens. By the end of the next year her hair had become a platinum shade blond and her name was changed from Norma Mortenson to Marilyn Monroe. Additionally, after a little more than a decade Monroe captivated audiences through a multitude of comedic and dramatic roles. Furthermore, audiences loved her breathy, blond bombshell appeal combined with her light comedic approach in several of her films. However, she received a Golden Globe award for her performance in Some Like It Hot and a Golden Globe nomination for her performance in Bus Stop.
