Tips for Ibps Preparation
Hi Guys, IBPS PO Exam, is one of the toughest exam in Banking sector unless you practice a lot. As all we know it consists of Numerical Aptitude, mental Ability, English and General Awareness (mostly banking) and Computer Awareness.
Coming to Aptitude and Reasoning, I suggest you to glue with single standard book whatever you have and complete it before going for other source. Almost every book will have same models with 85% redundancy, so if you finish one book means, you covered 85% of syllabus. You can see the new models while doing model papers.
Next coming to English, guys remember vocabulary is important, but it’s only not enough. Learn they but don’t waste much of your time mugging up all words which cover only 4 to 5 marks, concentrate on IDIOMS and PHRASES and learn Rules of correction of sentences, you can surf in net as 100 rules of correction of sentences, most of the questions fall under these rules only. I hope these guys will put these stuff too.
And the most Important and deciding factor of plenty of exams is General Awareness and Computer Awareness, as this hit 60 strikes in just 15 minutes of time. For this I personally suggest to buy some Institute material and Read it thoroughly. 1000s of books, papers and online stuff is available we collect them all and study none. Institutes prepare these materials with all these stuff which we collected, let them do that work and we read that final product. Almost every institute is preparing a very good material which always fetches 45 to 55 questions.
Finally 20 days before exams , wrap up all your studies and practice model papers at least 2 a day. As when we practice we usually do the same sort of problems continuously which will be degrade when they are mixed up. Online exam is much different than offline paper exam to familiar with the exam attend online Mock tests , which will make you familiar with the exam pattern and also helpful to check where you are wasting time ? where you are lagging
