Three Things I Would Change About the World

In today’s society there is so much that I want to change about the world but just don’t have the means or power to do so. So when asked what I would change about the world I had to think very hard about which ones I thought were the most important. The problems that I found were the most important were the one’s that had a rising effect in our society today. The problems that I would change about the world if I could are prejudice, the fear of war, and the pollution humans create on Earth. I will discuss these problems and some ways that we can start to make a step towards change for the better in our world.

When I started to think about things that needed to be changed prejudice was the first thought that came into my mind. We are all people set upon this earth to live our lives as best we can. If we removed our skin we would all look the same. I don't understand why we all can't live to help one another in the daily struggles of living. Why do we have to judge people simply by the color of their skin or by what religion they practice? There is good and bad in all of us it doesn't matter what color our skin is or what church we go to. We are all people. We all have the same problems. Wouldn't it be nice if we could all just support each other in this crazy adventure we call life? If all people could just learn to love themselves and love all others this world be a much better place.

The world is such a hostile and cold place we never know what is being planned all around this great big world. Tempers flair, prejudices arise, and suddenly bullets are flying and there are bombs going off. And all of this is due to big egos and silly disagreements. Just think in other parts of the world innocent children have to grow up in constant fear, parents must constantly fear for their own lives and the lives of their children. People are living in camps wondering where their next meal will...
