Hockey is also a really dangerous sport because you hurt and maybe never play again! It’s hard not to play hockey every now and then. It takes a toll on you. Onetime I got hit from behind and I almost broke my collar bone. I just chipped a little piece off my shoulder. I have a buddy in Thompson who got hit from behind and he was out for 7-8 months. He wasn’t allowed to play hockey for a very long time. He had to go through months of therapy for his concussion. Hockey is an amazing sport because the feelings you get when you first stake your first stride. It’s a hockey player’s instinct to work hard and play hard on the ice. No one can ruin it unless you get hit really well. In Hockey when you get mad it’s a good thing because you take all your anger out on the other team’s players which can help a lot. Make sure you don’t use it for bad. Hockey is a fast and physical sport. One wrong move and you can be hurt for a very long time. I’ve seen it happen before and it doesn’t look all that good. Nothing will happen if you just keep your head up. Unless you get lined up really good! If you want to be a good hockey player make sure your parents buy you the right stuff like equipment. Quinton and I always help each other on the ice no matter what, through fights, big brawls. Stuff like that we look out for eachother.

The topic that I have found the most intriguing in the sport of hockey is the increased speed of the game through the decades. The movement speed, puck speed and decision making has all increased since the game first began, this is resulting in a much higher risk of head injuries.
