Light came through the cracks in the wall as the survivors awakened. They were camped out in an abandoned building. The building had no windows and only one door, one of the walls was damaged from a bomb the government dropped to try to stop the virus from spreading any more. No one spoke, they just stared at each other in disbelief; they hoped it was just a dream. There were only five survivors and each knew they could be killed at any moment. “I..I’m Deryck”. Everyone turned and looked at a tall, thin guy with short black hair. “I figured sense we may be together for a while we should know everyone’s names”, Deryck continued. “I’m Sarah, Sarah Parker.” a girl with blond hair and brown eyes said while staring at the ground in front of her. “Benjamin Adler, but you can call me Ben” a tall, buff man with a face tattoo said. “My name’s Brooke Walters” a fifteen year old girl with curly brown hair said. The last girl stayed silent, she didn’t even move. The girl had long black hair pulled into a ponytail and her face looked strong yet scared, she looked about 21. “What’s your name?” Deryck asked the girl. She looked up at him and still said nothing. Outside there was loud crashing sounds that jolted everything back and forth. Ben got thrown off the wall onto the ground. A minute later the jolting stopped. Deryck and Ben got up and went outside to check out what the noise was. Outside there was thirteen metal cargo containers labeled U.S. Army; on the outside of the first container there was a folder with a note inside. Ben opened the folder and read the note. “To any survivors out there. Inside each of these thirteen crates are guns, ammunition, basic essentials, and one two-way radio. You’re job is to eliminate anyone and anything infected with the virus. When it has been eliminated, then you may use the two-way radio to contact the authorities who then will send out a group of men to confirm the elimination.
