This study aimed to determine the Effectiveness of Video Lessons in Social Studies on the Performance of Sophomore students in San Francisco Parish School. The subjects of the study were the Section Aries and Gemini of Sophomore students in San Francisco Parish School. A researcher made checklist was used as instrument in gathering the needed data. The said checklist was divided into two parts. The first part deals with the profile of the respondents, the second part deals with how the experimental group of respondents view the effectiveness of video lesson with respect to content, visual effects, and clarity. The experimental method of research was used. The statistical treatment used was frequency percentage to determine the profile of the respondents and to determine performance result of the pre-test and post-test test by the control and experimental group. T-Test was used to determine the significant difference on the performance of the control and experimental group in Pre-Test and Post-Test.
