The World of Languages

Languages may not be the most important thing in the world, but without them people like us would not be able to communicate with each other. Many jobs require more than on languages to communicate with customers, most of these jobs are well paying jobs. Those who speak more than two languages are more likely to get a better paying job than one just knows one language.

Many students may not agree that High School may have to require students to take two years of a second language. While working at job that has bilinguals there are more chances of getting help communicating with those who do not speak a certain language. Students should not complain about having to learn another language because its going to benefit them in the future.

Knowing the fact you that you have to study a foreign language it may seem as its going to take forever. Two years of a foreign language can be easily completed but some students argue that they are not going to need it to graduate or may not even use in the future, but they do not realize that they can be making more money for something they know. Wouldn’t you be happy if you got some extra cash for knowing another language?

In the Global Economy you need to know various languages in order to trade with other countries because not everything is made in America. The sooner you learn a second language then you’re going to be able to communicate with others. For some people learning a second language it’s like starting a new life. Some people may say that only college-bound students should have to meet this requirement, but they are wrong because once they start learning another language in high school then when they go to college they have an advantage over other students that are learning that language.
