Introduction Many of the people here in the Philippines liked to have a business on which they can sustain their needs in their everyday lives. Some of the common businesses that were established by the Filipinos are the Sari-Sari Stores, Pharmacy, Department Stores, Beauty Parlor, etc. But the most common business that can be seen in every street in different places here in the Philippines is the Internet Café. In literal meaning, people just only bring their laptops in the coffee shops with wi-fi for them to relax and at the same time to do their paper works and assignments. But for the definition of it, internet café is a place where a person can use an internet access with a payment for the time of usage. While the main activity in the internet café is the internet, such as email, newsgroup and web sites surfing. The development of internet café was started in July 1991 by Wayne Gregori in San Francisco when he began SFnet Coffeehouse Network. Gregori designed, built and installed 25 coin operated computer terminals in coffeehouse throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. The concept and name, Cybercafe was invented in early 1994 by Ivan Pope. Nowadays, Internet cafes are located worldwide. These kinds of businesses are very in demand because of the modern technology we have now. It is very useful for many people for them to keep in touch with their families, friends or love ones. The truth is that the internet café business is the very technical business. It requires high degree of skills in terms of technical aspects of the business and of course the marketing skills needed in order for you to survive in this business. One of the most common mistakes of the people entering into this business is that they enter it unprepared even with the most basic knowledge they need in order to operate their business properly.
