Describe one accomplishment that occurred in the last five years of which you are most pride and why One way we can ever move forward in life, we need to establish a firm belief that we must be grateful and be proud of no matter what we have already accomplished. It is important not to confuse pride with arrogance. Pride is “feeling happy and satisfied about an action, decision, quality, or possession that positively reflects on our confidence and self-worth.” Happy moments and success experiences are the fuel of every progress on your magnificence journey life offers, and it is our own responsibility to refill our own motivational tanks. What you have achieved, what you have learnt, what you are proud of, and what you can still do better to provide the required energy and inspiration in order to accomplish more grandeur in life. In my five (5) years of service as a civil servant and headed human resource department of the Birim Central Municipal Assembly, I again for the third year in a row I helped prime our Assembly to the qualification of Functional Organisational Assessment Team (FOAT) Excellence. Records from the ministry of Local Government in Ghana indicated we were the most qualified Assembly in the entire Country. As I was adding these accomplishments, I made a couple realizations. First, I realized that they all had three things in common: I began with the end in mind, I had laser focus, and put forth consistent action! Even more importantly though, I realized that accomplishments are great tangible benchmarks to acknowledge you have accomplished something. However, I believe with all of my heart that the true rewards are the person you become along the way, the lessons you learn along the way, and the lives you touch along the way. One accomplishment that holds a very special place in my heart is the fact that we have qualified to the money of District Development Fund (DDF).
