This device had so much success that it positioned Samsung at the top of the phone industry only behind Apple (that came up on 2006 with their new and very successful device called the IPhone). The Samsung galaxy s4 was created to revolutionize the smartphone market with tons of high end new features. Nowadays is considered by most as the most powerful desirable device Samsung has created yet and the best smartphone in the market.
The previous version of the galaxy family, the Samsung galaxy s3 was a completely success back when it came up selling more than 40 million devices just in one year. This device back in 2012 was considered by most the best smartphone on the market. This made Apple react because it was losing power on the industry so a couple months after the Samsung galaxy s3 came up, they create the new IPhone 5. This device completely went over the galaxy s3 making apple gain again the power and number 1 spot on the phone industry. The galaxy s3 couldn’t compete with this amazing new device created by Apple so Samsung started investing on creating a phone completely new and better. This phone was ended called the Samsung galaxy s4.
One of the most impressive things about the phone is the fact the size hasn't changed from its predecessor - the Galaxy S4 comes in at 5.38 x 2.75 x 0.31 inches, meaning there's no extra heft to try and work with in your palm.
