The Rights of Minority People in Asian Countries

This paper is totally based on Joshua Castellino and Elvira Redondo’ article the name of ‘Asian States, International Human Rights Law, and Minority Rights’. I try to mention very briefly about the minority people, their rights and status in Asian Continental but it is not cover of all situations. The very easy understanding of the people of minority is depended in numerical count in various types especially language, religion and race. Being a small number of population in any country in terms of race, religion, nationalities, language, cultural practices pushing to them vulnerable and discriminatory position in any country. The minority people have directly relates their human rights but the other hand they belong to interstate relation and concerns. Minority people sometimes becoming majority in others states, this is vice-versa. The discrimination and violation of their rights it is not only human rights matters some time it threats for regional peace and state’s relation.
Due to the inter-state concern of minority people’s issues, the international community had been trying settle the matters since so many years ago. The international community could not protect the minority people in First and Second World War. The fact shows that minority... [continues]
