Definition of Terms

 Family
Family is a primary social group consisting of parents and their offspring, the principal function of which is provision for its members. This is any group of persons closely related by blood.

 Home
Home is a house, apartment, or other shelter that is the usual residence of a person, family or household. This is the place in which one’s domestic affections are centered.

 Love
Love is a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person. It is the feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a parent, child or friend.

 Relationship
Relationship is the mutual dealings, connections, association, involvement or feelings that exist between two parties, countries, people etc.

 Broken Family
Broken Family is also called Broken Home. Broken Home defined as a family in which the parents decided to divorce and live their lives separately for several reasons/problems.

 Reconstituted Family
Reconstituted Family is the sociological term for joining of two adults via marriage, cohabitation or civil partnership, who have children from previous relationships or simply so called “step-family”

 Psychological Distress
Psychological Distress is the psychogenic pain, internal conflicts, and external stress that prevent a person from self-actualization and connecting with significant others.

 Emotional Distress
Emotional Distress is the mental distress or anxiety suffered as a response to a sudden, severe, and saddening experience.

 Emotional Disorders
Emotional Disorders is any mental disorder not caused by detectable organic abnormalities of the brain and in which a major disturbance of emotions is predominant.

 Reared
Rear is to take care of and support up to maturity.

 Essential Component
Essential Component is something that is essential, extremely important or absolutely necessary to a particular subject, situation, or activity.
