He studied at the Faculty of Mathematic and Physics of Charles University. The reason, why I respect him is that he managed to learn these difficult subjects like math and physics not only in Czech language, but he also worked as teacher in Technical University of Berlin. In Berlin, he taught almost four years. In advance, he gained experience a lot. He also traveled through the USA, where he presented the Theory of Krylov subspace methods. It’s a relationship to other mathematical disciplines. He isn’t only interested in math and physics, but he also understands computer science. He won even the I Babuska Prize for the best work in computer science submitted by students and young scientists. Nowadays, he learns math and physics at the Faculty of Mathematic and Physics of Charles University, but he has also another job. He works at the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, where he does numerical analysis, numerical linear algebra and methods of Krylov subspace. He is very busy, but successful.
