ABSTRACT
This study on the performance of Grade VI pupils in Math as compared on Science on the third grading period was conducted to find out the difference in the performance of Grade VI pupils in Math and Science and to exactly know if a student performs well on Math he/she is poor on Science or vice versa. Seventy-nine Grade VI pupils of Tigbauan Road Elementary School (CNCHS) for school year 2012-2013 were used as the subject of the study. The data used were the grades in Math and Science for the third grading period of the 79 Grade VI pupils of Tigbauan Road Elementary School. The data collected solved and analysed using Coefficient of Determination and Pearson Product- Moment Correlation Coefficient. The results showed that there is a relationship between Math and Science. The researchers conclude that there is a significant difference between the performance of Grade VI pupils in Math and Science based on the results of the study.
