In the movie “Crash” there is a lot of different types of violence. It is caused for many different reasons, some socially, economically and politically. Violence in the world today is picking up more and more. Even the strongest forces learn towards violence to solve issues. This movie covers a lot of the different issues in many different perspectives. Through this, the discussion of these events will be stated.
The movie attributes violence to the lifestyle of the people. In this society the movie takes place in, violence is a commonly occurring thing. When violence in a society occurs normally every issue seems to escalate to that point. A perfectly peaceful community is hard to found in this generation. This is exactly what happened in the movie and for many different reasons. As the text discusses, violence happens due to many causes. Some for example are rewarded violence, protecting violence, violence due to defending ones honor or the simple fact or religious morals and values. Most of the movie connected violence with race, gender and religion. Everything was stereotyped and it seemed to connect all issues to these factors of life.
This specific movie connects violence to many different things. One thing it connects to is the social aspect. This movie covers a few different peoples’ lives, and connects them with how they see society and their beliefs. I think all the actors and actresses in the movie were trying to portray their feelings and how they fit in socially. Some of them were taking to extreme. One example is when Sandra Bullock was walking down the street. She seems to be wealthy with a great life. As they are walking down the street these two black kids walk by. As they walk by she gets closer to her husband. This was a signal right off that she doesn’t really associate or care about people who are different than her.
