The Most Important Person in My Life
The Most Important Person in My Life

Today, I would like to talk about the most important person in my life. My elder sister is the most important person in my life. In 1998, when I lost my mom because of a car accident, my elder sister, Lucy, started to take care of me. She is the most unique and incredible woman in the world, she is successful woman, which means she works hard and can take of her little brother and dad and to cook for us. You may think that this kind of woman usually doesn't know how to take care of her brother and dad, but my sister organized all the housework perfectly so our home was always clean and cozy. Although, she was busy because of her education, but she insisted to cook every meal by herself, and she was cooking delicious. She was helping me to study for my tests, checking my homework's and helping me reviewing the things that I learned at school. My sister has her special way to teach or help me for my homework's, she taught me how to solve problem on my self, when I face it. She was not trying to do my homework's, she was pushing me to solve them on my own and this helped me a lot in my life and influenced on my personality. She is the most important person in my life, and I don’t know if I will be able to express what she means to me by writing this essay. My sister is not all my life, but she is the largest part of my life because she is trying and doing her best to make me feel that I did not lost my mom, by taking care of me like her. She is surviving like a bird that feed her children, fight everyone that try to bother them and then teach them how to fly on their own. I would like to thank her for everything that she did for me, to make me feel safe.

When my brothers and I were in school my mother was very involved. Every day until my brothers and I graduated high school my mother and father would both ask what homework we had and would help us when we needed it. They would then always look over our work to make sure we understood everything. My parents liked the schools we attended for the most part, but they did wish that there was more one on one time between the students and teachers. Since my mother was a teacher at the elementary school we attended, she was constantly communicating with our teachers. My dad would also…

In the short story "The Love of My Life," two teenagers make one bad decision and their lives are changed forever. The author, T. Coraghessan Boyle, wrote the story based on an actual news story that had occurred a few years back. The author does a great job of making the relationship between Jeremy and China seem so wonderful and almost innocent, that it is hard to be angry with them. The two characters in the story, Jeremy and China, are young and are head over heels for each other. The very first line of the story is all it takes to make the reader realize that these two youngsters share the true meaning of love, "they wore each other like a pair of socks." All of that changes when the two find out that China is pregnant. Instead of properly handling their situation, they have the baby and dispose of it in a dumpster at a motel. Although the story has a very upsetting plot, you can't help but feel some sympathy toward the characters.…

I have never looked up to, nor have I had to deal with, anyone more in my life than my sister. Growing up, we spent a lot of time together. From the moment I was born pretty much I was attached at her hip whether she wanted me there or not - I played with games and toys with her; I looked up to her; I respected her; she taught me next to everything about the world that I knew back when I was a kid, before I started school and growing up more on my own. Once I got to the point of having the ability to actually find myself and craft an identity, she had also been going through such a stage, a bit farther along than I was due to her being older. She was my guiding force in the building of my identity.…
