ABSTRACT

Mobile Computing is a generic term describing your ability to use technology 'un tethered', that is not physically connected, or in remote or mobile (non static) environments. The term is evolved in modern usage such that it requires that the mobile computing activity be connected wirelessly to and through the internet or to and through a private network. This connection ties the mobile device to centrally located information and/or application software through the use of battery powered, portable, and wireless computing and communication devices. This includes devices like laptops with wireless LAN or wireless WAN technology, smart mobile phones, wearable computers and Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) with Bluetooth or IRDA interfaces. The Anoto Technology is a combination of aningenious pattern, advanced image processing, Bluetooth wireless communication and an information infrastructure. These features let you use pen and paper together with all the possibilities of information technology. Anoto technology enables digital capture, transfer and processing of handwritten text and drawings—all with pen and paper. This offers businesses a better way to manage their handwritten forms.

Midsummer Night's Dream was not an easy read. Reading a piece of literature that is supposed to be performed on a stage and not consumed as a whole was a challenging experience. To fully understand a play that shifts between extreme metaphor, dark dreams and unstable reality, I had break the acts down by scenes and focus on the scenes to comprehend the hidden meanings and symbolism in the acts. Even though reading the play that way was lengthy and tedious, the process of keeping the certain scenes separate was beneficial and helped me better understand the play. I do admit that the play was confusing at times, so even though I finished reading the play in about a week, I had to go back and re-read a few scenes to finally figure them out.…

The innovation of the digital pen that we see today has been incremental over time. Using existing concepts from the traditional pen and combining it with the modern computing platform we use on a day to day basis. Some may argue that the innovation of the digital pen was radical because it provides a fundamentally new concept of being able digitally record, link and transfer handwritten and audio data from your pen to a computer. However, the technologies behind this digital pen have been developed and improved over time. The jump from recent previous technologies to those used inside the digital pen is relatively small, hence, the digital pen is an example of incremental innovation.…

I and my friends Bill Mates & Steve Hobs were watching Yankees games when we saw a commercial about a board game. Throughout the rest of the game we were thinking of how to make money using some great idea. All the three think of an idea to go into a business together. But there has to be an idea to sell. Bill says that he has vast experience in coding software so they should think of developing an operating system to compete with Microsoft windows. The software could be controlled by voice and hand gestures. Steve suggests about revolutionizing TV viewing by using iPhone as a combo of remote and video game controller. It is my idea to suggest something mind-blowing and to chart a course of action to make it turn into…

Handheld devices should reflect or improve on what already exists on paper forms. For example, if a user is filling out a maintenance or inspection activity form including specific information, the handheld should provide the exact same functionality. As with paper forms, a user can pick from a list of possible choices and/or write or type in information, according to the organization’s preferences. An added benefit of using handheld devices in conjunction with software is that data is automatically transferred from the handheld device to your database without the need for further data entry or reformulation of the data.
