The one who made the universe created us so that we could enjoy a relationship with Him. A relationship with God is a growing developing uniting with the creator of all things. It is the most intimate relationship we can ever have. This relationship is very personal. It is giving ourselves to gain Jesus. Having a walk with God is the most amazing relationship. Many people who have come to God for salvation only know of God but do not enjoy a personal relationship with God.

Intimacy with God requires honesty, trust that He loves us and only wants to build, support and make us whole. I have chosen the Life of Noah; who trusted and obeyed God in everything. In this essay, we can see the blessings God poured out on Noah’s life and how his life can be an inspiration to us.

Next, God as a loving partner and God as a warrior are compatible with Noah and the Flood. As a loving partner, God allowed Noah to preach for 120 years about the flood (Genesis 6:3). Genesis 6:7-8 reads, “7 So the Lord said, ‘I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them.’ 8 But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord” (The Holy Bible). One male and one female from every animal species and the family of Noah would be spared in order to repopulate the Earth. There has been much debate over the existence of such an event even though versions have been recorded in many cultures and languages. Some say that the bible’s…

Almost every religion in the world has a story about the “Great Flood” which destroys the earth, and each teaches its followers a different story about this disaster. While the Babylonians have the story of Utnapishtim from the Epic of Gilgamesh, the Judeo Christians have Noah from the Bible. Both men save a few people and many animals. In these stories, Noah and Utnapishtim seem to have similar situations, but a further analysis shows how truly different the two stories are.…
