1.1 PROPOSED TITLE

The importance of international business and exporting for SMEs: Challenges of Dubai companies that want to export their products to the UK.

1.2 INTRODUCTION

Dubai is located in Asia and forms part of the UAE it is the second largest country of the federation but has the largest population with an estimated population of 1,450,000.

A dramatic change in Dubai can be seen in the last three decades. In this period of time Dubai has become an important business area by making its environment more dynamic and diversifying its economy.

It has also had some amazing factors which attract the investors. These factors are less delivery and manufacturing costs and perfect infrastructure, international outlook and liberal government policies.

All in all these indicators point to the fact that Dubai is alive with possibilities for expansion in all areas. Although experiencing its current economic rescission Dubai has still outperformed expected rates in terms of economic growth and development.
