Well I am going to tell you who created what and how technology has changed our lives. Technology is a broad concept that deals with a person’s usage and knowledge of tools and crafts, and how it affects a person’s ability to control and adapt to its environment. In American society, it is a consequence of science and engineering, although several technological advances predate the two concepts. In another article titled “Hal and Me” by Nicholas Carr, he stresses the point that technology is pushing ‘the good life’ to the wayside. Although both authors have different opinions when it comes to technology, they both agree that changes are occurring due to technological influences on peoples’ brains. Technology plays an extremely large role in the lives of the people in this world, it is important that everyone understands that changes that come with the advances of technology.…

In today’s society technology has changed so much that some people can’t keep up with the changes. Over the last century there were wired telephones that started out the size of a college algebra book. The people of that time was grateful to have such communication capabilities and didn’t have a problem with the size of the phone. As the years pasted there would be advancements in this technology that would then move to a cordless telephone. You no longer had to carry that one hundred feet of telephone cable around the home or office any more, you could just carry the handset. But technology advancement would not stop there, in years there were phones that you could carry with you outside of your home or office building. The older generations had to learn how you use these phones, but very quickly cell phones evolved and were used everywhere.…

As technology has evolved and become so apart of our world its effect spread to all ends of the spectrum of every day life. The generation of high school students today can’t imagine a world without a smart phone in their pocket. In an article on how technology is changing us Howard Gardner said, “This generation expects that every aspect of life will be quick, efficient, streamlined, available immediately on demand, tell you what to do, how to do it, how others feel about it, and, at least implicitly, how you should feel about it, how you should feel about yourselves.” Social networking provides this all. We as a country, and this generation have a sense of entitlement to know everything.…

Social media has made it so that it is easy to contact your friends at any time, talk to anyone, anywhere, but it has also made it so that we spend too much time on it. Many people now just sit on their phone or skype and talk to friends virtually, and while you are still communicating with your friends, the experience of going out and doing something is lost. People aren’t getting enough fresh air, and we are seeing more obese people. Kids now just sit on the couch and talk to their friends while playing video games. While it is okay to communicate using social media with people when you are not able to see them, people are relying on social media to communicate with people right beside…

When we think of technology we think of computers, cellular phones, video games, the internet, and objects similar to these. In today’s society, the average American, under the age of 60 sees at least one of these objects each day. While most people believe that technology impacts society in a good way, in reality, technology has a bad impact on society. Because of technology becoming quite advanced at a rapid rate, there has been a vast variety of apps on the app stores for people to engage in social interactions, such as via twitter, snap chat, face book, instagram, as well as tumbler. People feel as if being a part of social networking they do not need to establish and maintain relationships with people in person. We depend so much on technology to where we freeze when it is time to interact with someone face to face without the help of a technology based app or website. Although people see all the pros and advances from technology, they look past the cons of technology that hinder people's ability to maintain an actual relationship with different people outside of technology. Majority of the people we are friends with today we have met through a social network, not only is this where we primarily meet, but this is how we socialize with each other. If technology was not so advanced and did not have numerous tools for socializing our friend list would be half of what it is now. Technology and society or technology and culture refer to the recurring co-dependence, co-influence, co-production of technology and society upon the other (technology upon culture, and vice-versa) (Webster’s Dictionary 5060). There are an extraordinary number of examples how science and technology has helped us that can be seen in society today. One great example is the mobile phone. Ever since the invention of the telephone society was in need of a more portable device that they could use to talk to people. This high demand for a new product led to the invention of the mobile phone, which did, and still do, greatly influence society and the way people live their lives. Now many people are accessible to talk to whomever they want no matter where any of the two people are. All these little changes in mobile phones, like Internet access, are further examples of the cycle of co-production. Society's need for being able to call on people and be available everywhere resulted in the research and development of mobile phones. They in turn influenced the way we live our lives. As the populace relies more and more on mobile phones, additional features were requested. This is also true with today’s modern media player.…
