The Hunger Games Book Review

hunger games Book review no spoiler

The Hunger games a terrible book. I find this book terrible because of the ending and the whole relationship between gale and peeta. personally I thought that the first 10 chapters was amazing but the rest was a disgrace, The parts that I love was the part when katniss volunteers for her little sister and the beginning of the games. But by the the end of it it was bored me to sleep. I have some likes and dislikes about this book plot I like how she volunteers but i don’t like hows its children killing children i makes me sick just thinking about it like how cruel is the capital. This reminds me about child soldiers in some countries which our at war with each other and then the child soldiers have to kill other child soldiers.

I will give this book a TWO OUT OF FIVE STARS. I give this book two stars because I don't think the movie will as the book because the movie is rated PG and there is a lot of killing in the book so I don't know how they will fit that in

I believe this book is well written. For example, in this book the point of view changes from them being thirteen to them being sixteen in the next chapter. Not many authors could do something like that and have it be a enjoyable book, but the author did a nice job with that. Many new…

There are people in this world who face many different trials and tribulations. Often, these trials help them realize who they are and what life means to them. This is the case with two native girls, April Raintree and Ashtoh-Komi, in 'April Raintree' and 'Where the Spirit Lives' respectively, who struggle against social prejudice. Both stories are unbelievable and have an emotional touch. It is based on the real lives of the native children. April Raintree is a Métis girl, while Ashtoh-Komi is Aboriginal. They are both amazing and remarkable characters. Both girls have been through many different problems. They face different types of abuse from those whom they live with, like emotional and physical abuse from people who think native people are dependent upon white people. Both girls are very strong because they survived all the difficulties they faced from the white people in their lives. Ultimately, both April and Ashtoh-Komi experience the different conflicts in their lives.…

It had humor, real life events, sadness, and suspense. I would most definitely recommend this novel to someone because although it’s very long, you won’t want to stop reading it. This book will make you wonder, cry, even laugh. It’s a book that I think had great meaning and was put together very well. In my opinion, there is no flaws about this book except how long it is.…

I would like to start off saying I really enjoyed this book so far. I really like the text, and description it shows. There is a lot of realistic experience in the book that helps me create my visual of the book. “They didn’t do nothin’! They didn’t do a goddamned thing! What the hell’re you tryin’ to pull?” Most books are cheesy written, and worded. This book was different, and really fit into my interest. I usually find it hard to get into a book, an reading a lot of the time makes me sleepy. I was able to adapt to this book quickly to gain a lot of questions an wondering what was going to happen next.…

I think I probably wouldn't be able to survive in the wilderness, much less if people are trying hard to make sure I don't survive until the next day. I would rate this book 3.5 stars out of 5. The lack of establishing conflicts throughout the novel was disappointing. However, I would still recommend this novel to others as it covers a very important issue and teaches readers what it feels like to be in the shoes of a refugee. Do not expect an incredibly exciting or sad story, because that is not what The Bone Sparrow…

This was an odd book for me. I had a lot of trouble getting into it and even at the midway point this book was only a 2-3 star book.
