The Education Problems in America
The United States is supposed to be one of the world’s most affluent and technologically-advanced societies. Unfortunately, education is not as effective as it should be. There are many problems with public education. I think redistributing funding, collecting the comments on education system from the public, could really make an impact on our education system. What is wrong with the education system?

Referring to Rose’s “I Just Wanna Be Average”, there were spate of reports on the school criticizes parents for not involving themselves in the education of their children. Without the parents’ help, how would someone like middle or high school level student know what to ask? Not like in the past, our parents is not being very involved with our education, they neither won’t asked about your grades nor homework every day when you got home. They seem not interested in the school life of their children. However, an important consideration in the middle or high schools is the identity development which takes place during adolescence. The role of parents is coach and the mentor toward their kids. As a mentor, they should provide advices and training to their children in order to help them gain experience. It is the best way encouraging students to learn. Lack of parental involvement, students could not pass through the difficulty of studying or even give up learning. By reading what Rose’s experience during the vocational study, one main idea can be summarized. That is, there were a few teachers who worked hard at education. As mentioned, some of them only work for paid and mostly had no idea of how to engage the imaginations of the students. Lack of awareness of the significance of education makes them disinterested in teaching and lessons become bored. Thus, education is boring would branded into students’ mind. And, what is wrong in this society?
