Tom Ericsson, not only a charismatic forty-something Swedish man living with his family in Allingsås, in the southern parts of Sweden, but foremost an inspirational and driven entrepreneur with many successful years founding, setting up and managing companies them behind him, in Sweden as well as overseas. Having a creative mindset is currently keeping his hands full, commuting between the small town life and being married and a father of two, and always being on the go: Seattle, Helsinki, Shanghai, Boston, Oslo, Nezega, developing and managing his current challenge: Explorius Education Group. There is a lot of work to be done, especially when new programs and initiatives are launched in a quick pace, trying to adjust to the ever changing industry and customers switching needs. Especially AiDucatius, the Corporate Social aid initiative, putting African countries Tanzania and Gambia in direct relationship with Sweden, has kept Tom awake lately. The will to make AiDucatius work truly matter and to create a difference has been held back mainly by Explorius’ scarce resources, there is no time and no one responsible. Also, the current value chain of AiDucatius, being tightly coupled with Explorius, needs to be analyzed. To get a better understanding of the current situation and the change alternatives, in order to move AiDucatius to its intended future, Tom has involved a Capstone consultant from Stockholm School of Economics.
