The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
Other than being some of the most brilliant people in human history what do the following have in common: Albert Einstein, Thomas Jefferson, Michelangelo, Isaac Newton, Andy Warhol, and Bill Gates? They have all been speculated to have some sort of autism. He relates well with animals but has no understanding of human emotions. He cannot stand to be touched. And he detests the color yellow." The book starts out with Christopher finding a neighbors dead dog with a garden fork through it his counselor tells him to write a book about the murder of the dog and his hope to solve the mystery. So Christopher snoops around trying to find clues about the dog. He eventually finds out that his dad killed the dog and he also found out that his mother is not dead like his father told him. So Christopher is scared that his dad is going to kill him like he killed the dog. So he runs off to London all by himself to live with his mother.
