The Controversy between How Hunting is affecting our Wildlife

In the beginning of the year we watched a video, what “they” say about hunting. This video is on a debate that a high school was having on whether hunting should be banned or not. The biggest controversial part about hunting is the fact on what animals are allowed to be hunted, and which aren’t. Most people don’t know where they are allowed to hunt, and what animals are on and off limits. These examples are things that came up in the high school debate. The reason that this video impacted me the most is because there were so many points that the kids made that I had never of thought of before; and those points should be raised to the world’s attention.

In the topic Overdevelopment there are article’s of which there is an overdevelopment of some kind that humans have caused and how the environment or wildlife is being affected from it. From the article, Experts Debate Fish Farming, I learned that people are fishing more than before, and now the population of fish is dropping around 2% every year. After reading the article it brought back the memory from the debate about hunting. A lot of people are allowed to fish and hunt, but most people don’t know the limit to hunting. That’s one of the con’s to hunting. If people don’t know the facts to hunting, then animals are going to die and numbers are going to just keep dropping which will have an effect on the ecosystem and the ecological balance.

The thing that is good about hunting that not a lot of people realize is that it can help keep the food chain and population under control. There are also a lot of wildlife groups that support hunting, but keep an eye on the wildlife and make sure to maintain the natural balance. Another thing is that most hunters know what animals they are allowed to hunt and which ones they are not.
