Rough Draft: Autobiographical Event
I could feel the intense summer heat beating down on my skin on another hot and tropical day in Honolulu, Hawaii. And that something was unknown and it remained unknown for a while. The unknown object I stepped on was pink and it harmed me slightly. Also, it had a texture like jelly.
“What could it be?” I said aloud to myself. Trying to ignore the pain, I continued on making the Hawaiian vacation as fun as I could make it. I kept playing for about fifteen more minutes, but then I heard a sound. That sound was my mother calling me.
“Lunchtime!” my mother yelled.
“Yes!” I said to myself. I was so hungry, my stomach was rumbling like an earthquake that could have broken The Richter Scale. Since I was so hungry, I dashed toward my family like a cheetah. The ocean waves were sloshing back and forth, dancing.
Moments later, I was sitting down on a cheerful and colorful towel, exhausted from all the playing. Then my mother found a concerned look on her face.
“Timmy, honey, what is that on your foot? Did you get hurt?” said my mother nervously.
“Whoa, Timmy! I think you got stung by a jellyfish!” said my brother astonished at my injury.... [continues]
