123 Textiles Corporation has been a respected company around the neighborhood for years, and through all the earthquakes that have happened they always stood around. I have been asked to devise a plan to help this corporation out, not only is the natural disaster level high, but it is in a high crime area and the server was taken right out of one of the windows. While this is a huge concern as far as the hardware is concern, one of the bigger concerns is the information that was stored. The company in turn has had to shut down until the problem is solved. So, starting fresh may be a great opportunity to get the job done correctly. So in this paper I will be devising a plan to help the neighborhood hero’s secure their company files, and hardware. We will talk about new ways to back-up files, and new ways to access them. We will go over the RAID system, and how I believe it can help the company, especially from a Server stand point. A lot of new ideas come up every year about the best possible program, and hardware for business’s, and their safety.…

Scent-Infused Textiles consumer acceptance of fragrance-embedded textiles. Consumer willingness of finished products. The Sensory Perception Technologies (SPT) allows textile producers to weave particles of moisturisers, deodorants, fragrances and even anti-tobacco agents into fabrics. "Early trials have proved SPT a success with many global clothing companies interested," ICI, whose fragrances unit Quest developed the technology. ICI said the technology allows fabric makers to incorporate tiny droplets in miniature particles into fabrics that are activated by movement or touch. "They can be woven into any fabric and are dry cleanable and machine washable. Every time you wear a jumper, vacuum, or walk on a carpet you will release what is stored in the particles," it said. "The smells are almost subliminal so as not to create any conflicts with the wearer's personal perfumes," ICI added Innovations resulting from technological advancements represent the best strategy for success in the increasingly competitive textile industry. Smart textiles are part of daily life .Recently fragrances /scents have become available that can be formulated moods, as its presence on the fabric can influence the shopping behavior and buying decisions. Researchers tracking the home textile segment have found out that consumers spent more time in the jewelery section of a departmental store, when it was suffused with a pleasant aroma than when it was un scented. The influence of odors on purchasing and consumer behaviour demonstrated further the distinct effects and hedonic value of scents and fragrances in human beings. Principle and Applications of Micro Encapsulation: Micro encapsulation is a process by which very tiny droplets or particles of liquid or solid material are surrounded or coated with a continuous film of polymeric material. These micro capsules have a number of benefits converting liquids to solids, separating reactive compounds, providing environmental…

August 12, 1992, was a really bad day for John Martin. That was the day Canada, Mexico, and the United States announced an agreement in principle to form the North American Free Trade Agreement. Under the plan, all tariffs between the three countries would be eliminated within the next 10 to 15 years, with most being cut in 5 years. What disturbed John most was the plan's provision that all tariffs on trade of textiles among the three countries were to be removed within 10 years. Under the proposed agreement, Mexico and Canada would also be allowed to ship a specific amount of clothing and textiles made from foreign materials to the United States each year, and this quota would rise slightly over the first five years of the agreement. "My God!" thought John. "Now I'm going to have to decide about moving my plants to Mexico."…

    Synthetic Fibers

Today they're many thousand different materials. Most of them are different types of clothing, or cloth. Good portions of these are combinations of synthetic fibers woven or threaded together to make a final product. These synthetic fibers are a large group of polymers. Synthetic polymers offer more possibilities, since they can be designed with molecular structures that impart properties for desired end uses. All fibers are ploy-something or polymers. That means they are long strings of repeating chemical elements. Some fibers come from ground plants that synthesize connected units of cellulose like cotton. Others are protein chains found on animals - wool, or the hair on your head. Other fibers are spewed from insects and worms, like spider webs and silk. Many of these polymers are capable of dissolving or melting, allowing them to be extruded into the long, thin filaments needed to make most textile products. Synthetic polymer fibers can be made with regular structures that allow the chains to pack together tightly, a characteristic that gives strength. Filaments today can be made from some synthetic polymers that are much lighter and stronger even than steel(Warner,p129-139).…
