Team Project Plan
A plan is being created to increase motivation, satisfaction, and performance for a positive influence to complete a team project. Every individual has many different aspects and views to offer in business and life. Each person is different with a different attitude, different emotions, and different values. Management has come to realize these differences and will use our own dominance from one another to help others be successful.
Through multiple assessments taken online, it has been found that our team has a Director and Producer. The two managers are similar with the work ethic of Dominance and have a slight difference in how guarded they behave. Through each of these characteristics, the values of happiness, hard work, achievement, truthfulness, and honesty will be shared (Hall, 2009). Dominance has multiple strengths such as, getting things done, leadership, and decision making abilities. Dominant individuals accept challenges, take authority, and have adept administrative and operational skills (DiSC, 2009).
The plan is as follows; the management team will use the Dominant individuals described as a Director and Producer to lead the team. The Director is the more guarded and directs individuals that will create new opportunities and goals, where the producer is less direct, but will accomplish bigger goals being efficient and dependable at all times (DiSC, 2009). We will help team members assess their values through assessments as we did, which will help them realize what they have to offer; letting them have personal responsibility, offer feedback and have moderate risks which is what an achiever is known to do. When an individual uses their own personality, the interactions and reactions with others may be more positive (Robbins &Judge, 2007).
