Tastes, Smells, and Romance
As we drive to our destination, I wait there patiently in the passenger seat twiddling my thumbs and listening to the radio. We usually talk the entire way there but sometimes it is nice for quietness. After two hours of driving we arrive at our favorite place, The Boardwalk. The Boardwalk is like a big mall but outdoors. It has approximately seventy two outlets. Our favorite outlets to go are, The Chocolate Crocodile, Salt Grass Steakhouse, and Cold Stone Creamery. These three outlets are so amazing that everyone should try no matter what.
Walking into the Chocolate Crocodile, our noses start to wander and our mouths start to water of all the delicious assortments of treats. There is everything from chocolate covered raisins to big juicy caramel and chocolate covered apples. My specialties would be the milk chocolate covered strawberries drizzled with white chocolate and the chocolate covered oreo cookies. The Chocolate Crocodile is one of the fastest growing stores in Louisiana. If anyone is a chocolate lover and cannot live without it then I recommend them to go there. All the treats are mouth watering delights and everyone needs to try them because it is worth it,
We enter the Salt Grass Steakhouse and get a big whiff of char grilled smell.
The Salt Grass Steakhouse recaptures the flavors of an open campfire. So it reminds people of the great tastes back then. There are steaks, chicken, and seafood char grilled to perfection. Meals are complete with breads, soups, and desserts made from scratch every day.
My favorite plate would be the Maudeen’s Center Cut Filet, which is the most tender steak that is thick and juicy, served with a dinner salad, beer bread, and one side.
This is one of the best restaurants that will satisfy everyone. There are many great dishes that people’s taste buds cannot resist!
