Wack Wack Condominium was the first highest building established in Mandaluyong in 1998. It was built to lessen the housing subdivision. Wack Wack Condominium has 45 floors, in every floor has 8 units and it has basketball court, badminton court, swimming pool area, gym and pent house inside the building. To satisfy the unit owners we give them the full time service of their needs.
Wack Wack Condominium maintains the full service to the unit owners and the cleanliness of every facility. They also check the security of the building for the safety of the owners unit.
Background of the Study
The employees are using Bundy clock for their attendance and log book for the guard’s attendance monitoring. The use of those processes is for employees if they are in their respective station. It is also used for the computation of employees’ salary for the half month. The leadsman computes the time in and out or the hours worked of the employees. Then after the computation, the leadsman needs to submit to the guard for the inspection of computation. The guard submits the record to the admin for inspection again and the admin will submit to every agency where their employees belong.
The researchers found out that the existing system they are using is inconvenient for the admin to understand the employees’ penmanship. Base on our evidence, they need to rewrite the names of employees for clear attendance monitoring. So, in their case, they will lose the accuracy and correctness of data.
In the existing manual monitoring system of “Log In and Log Out” of all the staff and employees at Wack Wack Condominium, it has a slow performance of the task and not updated records. It causes human error, manual checking of records and manual process of payroll. A lot of time and effort consumed and wasted. Slow tracking of records and Delay of Salary.
The system that we proposed is HRIS w/ payroll using fingerprint biometrics. This advanced system will help the Wack Wack Condominium for fast monitoring of attendance and at the same time automatic computation of employees salary. Our system is convenient for the employees of Wack Wack Condominium because it will work automatically and convenient for the company because we are using fingerprint biometrics to prevent forgery.
Statement of the Problem
This study will address the problems encountered by Wack Wack Condominium in their manual monitoring of Log In and Log Out of all the staff and employees.
1. Can the system provide a computerized monitoring information system that will minimize the problem they encountered? 2. Can the system record and track the attendance of staffs and employees? 3. Can the system increase workflow efficiency? 4.
Can the system avoid fraud in time and time out of employees? 5.
Can the system give fast and easy work/transaction?
