Sandwich Blitz is a fast food chain, specializing in organic and healthy alternatives. Previously they were without competitors in their store locations. Recently, individual stores of the same genre are beginning to make their appearances in the areas of domination by Sandwich Blitz. The goal of the last meeting was to establish a strategic plan to ensure that the company stayed on a senior level in their sales as the competition builds a customer base. Dalman and Lei face several more challenges ahead of them, but are on the right track focusing in on the smaller, more inconvenient problems up front.
The purpose of this report is to place a SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity and Threats) analysis in place as a guideline for Dalman and Lei as their company continues to succeed.
Strengths within the company include; established reputation for an upscale product, organically grown products and health conscious beverages, multiple chain locations and a 30% ROI (Return on Investment).
Weaknesses at this point would contain; communication within the company, new issues arising within time spent managing problems out of top-level range in regards to time management, and lack of being a private label brand which makes them susceptible to reproduction by competition.
Opportunities seem abundant with the potential of Sandwich Blitz, such as; revolving market for new product ideas, ability to reach out to new customer base with variety of particular products offered, and probability of new locations based on the eight already established, and opportunity for larger staff in order to save time and accommodate smaller issues within the operating hours.
