Southeast Racing Parts – Sample Business Plan
I chose for my SWOT analysis the Southeast Racing Parts Business Plan. I would like to discuss the strengths of the business. I live in North Carolina and know that there is nothing like going to a race for the weekend and tailgating with your family or friends at the races. The NASCAR track is about three hours from where I live but is definitely a major attraction for everyone who lives here in the Tar Heel state. There are even racing pools during the week at jobs to see who will win. The clientele here in North and South Carolina is a major plus for sells for Southeast Racing Parts.
Motorsports is a growing market. It has really grown in the United States over the last ten years. It has now become one of the fastest-growing sports in America. If you examine the market you will see that it is worth around $1.5 billion annually. There will be television coverage of the events for motorsports, which has definitely helped auto racing to become a booming industry. Also, here in North and South Carolina, the population has grown at least twenty percent in the last ten years.
Also, Southeast Racing Parts will be able to deliver a product that their customers need, such as engine and chassis parts for a wide variety of cars. They will offer safety equipment and set it up for customers. In addition to this they will offer brand names as well as generic label parts. They will produce a catalog system where parts can be ordered online.
I see a lot of opportunity for growth. The company is starting out small. It is owned by a husband and wife team. Motorsports is constantly having a need for motor parts being delivered to the pits or to the specific crews for drivers.
