At the end of my MBA course on Finance, I have been advised to conduct a studyon Sustainable Microfinance Development Model : A Case Study On ASA. ” a study on Dhaka city.This report focuses 60 Day’s working experiences in Mirpur- 1 Branch. This report will give a clear idea about activities and operational strategies of overall ASA NGO. This report divided into four chapters. The first chapter of the report describes the Introduction, Objectives, Methodology along with the limitation encountered. The second chapter deals with An Overview of the organization; Background of the organization, Functions of the organization, and Structure of the organization. The third chapter deals with Microfinance Management System. The chapter four deals with General Discussion and Findings of the study and the chapter five deals with Recommendation and Conclusion.
ASA received formal registration from the government in 1979. To reach its goal of empowering the poor, ASA stressed the need for building peoples organizations, or groups, through mobilizing landless rural poor.
