Executive Summary

The purpose of this report is to examine sustainability from the world’s perspective and to draw the attention of business managers the importance of sustainability to its business and its influence on organisational behaviour. Sustainability is universally defined as the ‘development that meets the needs of the present without

Sustainability can be adopted as branding strategies, image strategies, cut cost endeavors, differentiate themselves from competitors, and firms’ value statements. Morsing and Oswald (2009), for example, argued that a healthcare company, namely Novo Nordisk integrates a commitment in their business conduct as one of their corporate values.
