The super bowl this year was a hard fought battle between two great teams, and two great quarterbacks. The giants had a much harder path to the super bowl again just like four years earlier when they made it to the super bowl against the undefeated patriots. They had to win the last two games of the regular season against two very good teams the eagles and cowboys to get into playoffs. Then they had to play every game this postseason on the road they had to beat the packers the defending champions and then the toughest defense this year in the 49er’s. The patriots had an easier road to the postseason the toughest game they played in was against the ravens in the afc championship game where they could have lost if the kicker for the ravens could have made a 40 yard field goal. The actual game this year was one of the most exciting games that I have ever watched in a professional football game. It was a back and forth game and any team could have won it. The patriots late in the fourth quarter had a chance to finish the deal and ice the game. When Tom Brady through a pass to Wes welker that was a little high, but a catch that he makes all the time that slipped through his hands. If he would have caught this ball he would have had a touchdown to ice the game. Instead the giants get the ball back with 3:45 to go. The first play of their drive was a unbelievable pass from manning to his wide receiver through two defenders and on the left sideline. This pass had been perfect the window was only inches from interception. The catch was just as amazing the receiver had to keep both feet in bounds and caught the ball without stretched arms with his fingertips. This pass was 40 yard pass that got the giants into the patriots territory. The giants scored a touchdown with 58 seconds to go. The patriots had a chance to win the game but two dropped passes and a sack pretty much sealed the deal for the giants Tom through a hail marry into the end...
